Here at BMEP Fuel & Tuning, we strive to offer the very best products and support at the best possible value. In order to best serve our customers and to provide the best in fair and honest service, we follow a set of policies and “Terms of Sale.” Please take a few moments to read and understand them, and feel free to contact us with any questions with regards to these terms.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1) BMEP Fuel & Tuning assumes no liability for damages to person or property as a result of the use, misuse, or or installation of these products on any vehicle.  These products are designed and intended for use on non-roadgoing vehicles, and use on any vehicle that is subject to State and Federal emission equipment laws is to be done at the risk of the vehicle owner. Use of any of any product sold by BMEP Fuel & Tuning used for any purpose is done at the individual risk of the vehicle owner.

2) BMEP Fuel & Tuning offers no warranty or guaranty on it’s products beyond that of the product manufacturer. Contact BMEP Fuel & Tuning if there is a malfunction during the period covered by the manufacturer for instructions on how to obtain warranty service. 

3) All special order or custom items require a 50% nonrefundable deposit  at the time of order. All sales are payable by certified funds ONLY. Special arrangements can be made for payment by electronic funds transfer or COD for an additional fee on an individual case basis.

4) Due to the fact that many of our products are produced and sourced from Europe and Australia, all prices are subject to change up to and including the time of sale due to constant changes in global currency exchange rates.  We will honor prices quoted on systems for two days following the time they were given.  Contact BMEP Fuel & Tuning for current prices and availability on all products.

5) Any sales of USED parts or equipment are guarantied only to be properly functioning at the time of delivery, and have no warranty either expressed or implied. Further, any consigned or other sales brokered by BMEP Fuel & Tuning for items between outside individuals shall not hold BMEP Fuel & Tuning liable for problems or disputes between said individuals.

6) Any fuel and ignition calibration files provided by or created by BMEP Fuel & Tuning used on ANY vehicle is strictly by the owner’s peril. Vehicles tuned for customers will be done so in a conservative, responsible fashion in order to mitigate the possibility of engine damage due to ECU or fuel system failure.  BMEP Fuel & Tuning will not assume responsibility for any engine or vehicle damage under any circumstances.

7) Any tuning work will be done ONLY on cars that are in correctly modified, SAFE condition. BMEP Fuel & Tuning reserves the right to reject any customer’s vehicle that does not meet our standards for safety and mechanical readiness.  Examples being:
Any fluid system leaks.
If your car leaks fuel, oil, coolant, transmission fluid, differential lube, even power steering fluid, we won’t touch it.
Improper ECU installation. This includes improper wiring, termination, and integration of the ECU as well as related systems such as ignition, fuel pump, and charging system.  If you start your car with jumper cables, or if your car smells like an electrical fire, leave it at home.
Passenger restraints.
In a nutshell, no seatbelts, no tuning.
Tire/suspension conditionOnly cars with safe tires and suspension will be tuned.
Fuel pressure gauge. Turbo or supercharged cars should have a working fuel pressure gauge installed. If a permanent mount gauge is not installed, a safe temporary gauge visible from the vehicle cockpit must be provided by the the customer.

8) BMEP Fuel & Tuning reserves the right to add to or change the contents of these Terms of Sale at any time without notice.
